5. Pokémon Classic Version S — Scorbunny

Let’s kick things off with a release that appeals to both my love of rabbits and Japanese popular culture! Scorbunny, Game Freak’s rascally rabbit, finally makes his Blokees debut this month with a simple snap-together kit that’s quick to complete but chock-full of charm! While his smaller size means he may lack the range of larger characters like Charizard or Snorlax, Scorbunny more than makes up for it with a hop in his step, a faithfully proportioned design, and one of the sweetest faces to find its way out of the Galar Region. Throw in a modular display base that turns up the heat with translucent flame effects, and it won’t take long to see why this lit little lapin is destined to make the perfect addition to any desktop display!
4. Transformers x Hot Wheels Deluxe Class GT — Scorcher

Free of the panel-popping issues that plagued its wave mate, GT-Scorcher takes an enlarged version of the Group 5 Capri cast first released by Mattel back in 2021 and gives it a fun Cybertronian upgrade. Featuring an intuitive transformation that never feels overly complicated, solid articulation, and a final robot design that instantly calls to mind the fan-favorite Alternators line from 2003, GT-Scorcher strikes an excellent balance between style and engineering. The end result is a figure that not only combines two of the most popular toy brands into one slick package, but does so with confidence and flair, making it the strongest entry in the Transformers Collaborative Hot Wheels collection to date—sorry, Boneshaker!
3. Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla — KAIJU-DOU Godzilla

Threezero stomps into the realm of premium behemoths this month with KAIJU-DOU Godzilla! Based on the beloved beastie's appearance in 1974's Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, this impressive 1/8 scale figure features soft silicone skin, LED-illuminated dorsal spines, three pairs of interchangeable hands, and even a pair of broken transmission towers that can be used to recreate one of the film's most iconic scenes. Add 26 points of articulation, an electronic roar, and a heat ray effects piece, and you've got one monster of a release that's sure to have fans roaring with delight! But, be warned—this one does not come cheap!
2. Fruity Pebbles Fred Flintstone & Cocoa Pebbles Barney Rubble

Get ready to add a bite of Saturday morning nostalgia to your collection with the all-new Fred & Barney cereal mascot figures from Jada! Lovingly crafted in 1/12 scale, Bedrock's bosom buddies channel their long-running partnership with Post Consumer Brands and look like they just stepped right off the front of a Fruity Pebbles (or Cocoa Pebbles, in Barney's case) box. Packed with swappable parts and some fun cereal-themed accessories, Fred & Barney are guaranteed to brighten any display and are a must-have for fans of classic cartoons, vintage advertising, and unique action figures alike. Joining Chester Cheetah and Tony the Tiger, they're another delicious addition to Jada's ever-growing lineup of beloved brand characters. Yabba Dabba Delicious indeed!
1. Prehistoric Animal Models — Cameron The Tyrannosaurus Rex

PNSO's first foray into the world of articulated animals comes in the form of Cameron, a scientifically accurate Tyrannosaur (lips and all) that has had my inner child screaming with delight ever since the solicitations went up back in March! Easily one of my most anticipated releases of the year, Cameron boasts beautifully sculpted scales and a patina of earthen tones that give the figure a wonderfully realistic quality. There's also an impressive double-hinged jaw, bendy-wire tail, and an array of articulation that, while not near as dynamic as Nanmu's T. rex twins from earlier this year, is still pretty solid in its own right. An impressive first attempt from a company not known for dabbling in dexterous dinosaurs, Cameron is a titanic-sized triumph that's ready to take a mighty chomp out of the premium prehistoric community!
