The Traitors are playing pretty well, huh?
It likely shouldn't be a surprise that if the Faithfuls in the game all trust the three Traitors in the game, I must also believe in their ability to win the game. The one obstacle to them making it to the end is that fact that as more people with suspicion are revealed as Faithful, the players left in the game will surely realize they are going about finding the Traitors all wrong and change their strategy. While that might be all well and good to nab a Traitor or two, it feels out of their hands to eliminate James, Maya, and Kenny before the end of the game.
Over the course of this week's two episodes, we lost Ross (ranked #14), Jerry (ranked #4) and Miranda (ranked #6). We then left on a cliffhanger regarding whether we'd lose Joanne or Sharon next. With just one week left, it might be time to put these miserable Faithfuls to rest once and for all.
10. Sharon Rooney (Last Week: 3)
I really thought Sharon had this for a while. Unfortunately, as she grew in confidence (which can happen when you are a celebrity but living in a castle with about 15 other celebrities who slowly leave), the players became suspicious that her behavior had changed. The episode ended with a cliffhanger that seems destined to see Sharon be voted out of the game due to Kenny's double vote. If Kenny changes his vote, it'll be stupid for him to flip-flop, but it also won't help Sharon stay in the game much longer.
9. Joanne McNally (Last Week: 11)
I really thought Joanne could have slipped to the end with the others thinking they could take a sweet, innocent Faithful to the end. However, she seems to have made one too many mistakes and seems destined to go at Round Table regardless of if she survives the tie vote this week.
8. James Blunt (Last Week: 13)
There are simply too many people who think James Blunt may be a Traitor for him to win the game. It's been a delight to see him be so confident in a wrong theory and humble himself, only to gather his confidence and do it all over again.
7. Michael Sheen (Last Week: 9)
The knives are beginning to be pointed at this season's "big dog." Bash brought up the dilemma that terrorizes some of the biggest personalities in every season of The Traitors: surely the only reason a player has been kept alive by the Traitors is because they've been one since the beginning of the game or they were recruited. The other players have too much respect for him to think that any smart Traitor would have kept him alive. He made a smart retort this week by saying the night he was in most danger, he had a Shield. Still, he seems like he'll be on the lips of a Traitor to be murdered shortly.
6. Leigh-Ann Pinnock (Last Week: 8)
The trouble for Leigh-Ann is that as the other people who are suspicious of her prove to be Faithful, it will only shine the spotlight on her even brighter. Normally if you're a popstar, you'd love that, but that's bad news for Leigh-Ann in The Traitors.
5. Romesh Ranganathan (Last Week: 10)
I think The Traitors will kill Romesh eventually, it's just a matter of whether other threats pop up before him. He's seemingly one of the more trusted Faithfuls at the Round Table and will be in contention for a nighttime murder. After all, his name has consistently mentioned by James, Maya and Kenny in previous nights.
4. Sebastian Croft (Last Week: 7)
It's hard to feel like Bash might not have the biggest lift in his career pre-Traitors and post-Traitors. He's been extremely likeable, somewhat adept at the game and made some genuine friendships (who saw Romesh and Bash being close!?). It's a shame that the Traitors are running circles around everyone else or else I'd have Bash higher on the list.
3. James Acaster (Last Week: 5)
If anyone tries to yell at my boy James Acaster for not participating in the challenge, I'll fight you.
(Now that it's just me and James A., I really do think you should have tried in the challenge but I forgive you)
James is still the Traitor that has the least chance of winning, mostly because if things start to go south, Maya and Kenny could team up to take him out. But at this point, even that doesn't seem very likely.
2. Maya Jama (Last Week: 2)
There are people whispering about the fact that Maya has no suspicion on her. None. Zero. Zilch. She's the player I most fear will be looked at should the Faithful decide they need to stop going off random leads they think are right and try a totally new strategy. But if you get voted as one of the most trusted players and you're a Traitor, I've got to rate you highly.
1. King Kelly (Last Week: 1)
So, yeah — if you are the most Faithful of the Faithful, I have to rate you #1. Granted, this can also backfire when they start to wonder why someone who's seen as such a trusted Faithful is still around. He also is worried that the Double Dagger will put suspicion on him. Nevertheless, no one has better odds to win than King Kenny right now.
